The Makings of a Warrior
An easy life does not make a warrior. It’s in difficult times that you grow the most when you lean on me. You learn that I can be trusted; you learn that I will get you through. You will know the next time something comes against you, that you are more than a conqueror through my Son, who strengthens you.
Fortitude and endurance is developed in a crisis. The makings of a warrior happen in battle. There’s coming a day that you will be so grateful for the hardships that you are enduring now. For you will know without a doubt that through Christ you will be able to do all things. Whenever you look back, you will remember that there’s always light ahead of you. You won’t come out the same way you came in. The sword of the Spirit will have been sharpened, and you will be ready for the enemy. My Son will hold you with his right hand and my Spirit will lead you and guide you through every dark valley.
You will be trained to lead others through the valley and know how to encourage and strengthen them. They won’t be empty words because they will come from your personal experience and the deep recesses of your spirit man. The words you speak will be convicting and empowering to those who hear them. They will be authentic because they were formed in the trenches. Because you have Jehovah Nissi, The Mighty Warrior, and the Captain of the Host with you, you will be triumphant.
