The Secret
I told you that sorrows and trials will be part of your life here on earth. Don’t be surprised or alarmed by it. You must be courageous, being fully conscious that I have removed the power this world has to conquer you at the cross. I will sustain you! This time on earth is just a fleeting moment and an eternity of bliss awaits you.
Throughout this testing period, do your best to keep a positive perspective by focusing on the good that is present in your life now. See this present difficulty as an opportunity for me to work a miracle in your life or to show you something you never saw before. Sometimes your answer to a trial will be delayed because I want you to experience an even greater manifestation of my goodness and love.
I came into the world to bring abundant life to those who would believe in me. When you live in gratitude for the little blessings of life and the special moments you experience, coupled with knowing you’ve lived the way I’ve taught you to, you are living the abundant life. When you live so closely with me that we become one, my glory is revealed in you. Even though you may not be aware of it, others are.
Remember that you have a secret; I sent YOU the Holy Spirit who will comfort you during the dark times. My comfort is perpetual, enduring and never ending. As you surrender each aspect of your life to my control, you will conclude that you don’t need more things in your life. What you really need is more of me and then you’ll have more to give to others, as well.
Permit me to keep your heart at rest and turn over the outcome of this time of crisis to me. Ask me for my wisdom and discernment ; expect that I’ll give it to you and it will come. Always remember that my presence and mercies are with you, even when you don’t feel them. I am delighted in you and your life brings me pleasure. Never stop believing in my unwavering love for you and your loved ones.
