The Power of One

Didn’t I say that if you believed in me, you will see me unveil my power? The power of One, the only true God, dwells in you. I have heard your prayers and deep intercession for a culture in which people are becoming increasingly selfish and blinded to how their actions affect others. You perceive that beneath it all, many individuals are spiritually downcast and depressed. Your are moved with compassion and you feel their heartaches. At the same time you fear that there is no real hope for the change that will bring true transformation to the world around you.

I encourage you my child, to get involved on an individual basis and minister to one person at a time. Do life with that individual and spend quality time with him or her. Teach what I’ve taught you, just as Jesus taught his disciples and many came to faith. The number of followers will grow exponentially.

I want more like you! If believers will take this step of faith, each new follower will in time become a source of new growth.

My Son never looked at a situation where there was lack and became discouraged or panicked. He knew that I had a solution for every problem he could face. You need to see as Jesus sees and think as Jesus thinks. Do you recall how he confidently looked at a boy’s small lunch which had to feed 5,000 people? He saw there would be leftovers after everyone had eaten. He envisioned more at the end than at the beginning. THIS One lives and expresses himself through you, so the potential for multiplication is always present. A little can go a long way when I breathe my life into it.

Be sensitive to this truth the moment the Holy Spirit draws you to someone who is outside of your circle of friends. It may be the beginning of a changed life which will in turn, impact many others. Your one act of obedience can result in a harvest of souls receiving new birth and a new life.
