Always On My Mind

My dear child, I have searched you and I know you. I am familiar with every thought that you have and every heartache that you have carried. I know what brings you happiness and what gives rise to sadness; I understand what causes you grief and what evokes true joy. Nothing is hidden from me. I am intimately acquainted with all of your ways and I love you fully. I know your name and you matter to me.

My challenge to you today is this: How well do you know yourself? Is there anything that you need to be aware of which will lead to a spiritual, emotional or physical boost in your life? If there’s anything blocking fullness of joy or your desire to be more like my Son, I want you to discover it. Then you will have the ability to change your thinking to line up with mine and live a life of freedom, void of shame. Knowing the truth will change the way you love yourself, the way you love others and the way that you love me. It’s part of the process of being set apart for a special use and purpose which I have planned for you.

When my Son was asked what the most important commandments were, he replied, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. And the second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself.” You can only love yourself better when you are aware of any hindrances to that love. It will set you free to be a full participant in life who loves living.

By having a close relationship with the Holy Spirit, by knowing and abiding in the Word of God and by living in a faith-based community, you will understand yourself better. Through receiving honest feedback about how others feel when they are with you and by inquiring what they see in you, self-awareness will increase. You will discover so much about yourself by just listening to what you are saying.

Being assured that I love you completely when you succeed and when you fail will make you more conscious of your need for me. Remember that you are always on my mind! I have provided all the forgiveness, comfort, healing and power necessary for personal change and progress. And I’m rooting for you all the way!

Scriptures

You are so intimately aware of me, Lord. You read my heart like an open book and you know all the words I’m about to speak before I even start a sentence! (Psalm 139:1-4) TPT

Pay close attention to your life and your teaching; persevere in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and your hearers. (1 Tim 4:16) CSB
